Our Take
Mer Sea is Waypoints Yacht Charters' 2025 Fountaine Pajot Aura 51 at St. Thomas, Frenchtown Marina: 51 feet, five cabins and five heads, registered for ten. Five queen cabins, each with its own head, and two of them are owner's cabins reached from the stern. Air-con, a 13.5 kW generator, an Aquabase watermaker, solar panels, Starlink, an ice maker and a big flybridge lounge are all listed. The Highfield 380 tender has a 25 hp four-stroke. Water is 700 litres, so the watermaker does the work. Draft is 1.3 m. It's priced to match, at about $12,500 to $18,900 a week, plus a $50-a-day damage waiver and a $500 surcharge listed for BVI trips. At 51 feet it needs a skipper with big-cat experience. Take it for five couples who want new and spacious.
