Our Take
Dream Yacht Charter's Bali 4.8 at Yacht Haven Marina, Phuket: 48.8 feet, six cabins (four doubles and two bunk cabins), six heads, registered for twelve. Air-con in the cabins, an 11 kVA generator, a 240-litre-per-hour watermaker, solar and an electric mainsail winch are listed, with 1,000 litres each of fuel and water. Six heads is the reason to book: a big group without a bathroom queue. The two bunk cabins suit kids or friends who don't mind narrow berths, so it's really an eight-adults-plus-kids boat. From Yacht Haven, Phang Nga Bay and its limestone islands are close, with sheltered water. Build year and hull name aren't published, but Dream Yacht puts it in its Economy age band (more than six years in charter), so expect an older boat and confirm the exact hull at booking. Take it for a two- or three-family trip.
