Our Take
Hathor is Navigare Yachting's 2023 Lagoon 42 at Athens, Alimos marina: 42 feet, four cabins and four heads, plus two small extra berth cabins, registered for twelve. The spec is simple. No air-con, generator or watermaker is listed, so you sleep with the hatches open and live on 470 litres of tank water. That's small for eight, so plan a marina or quay stop every couple of days. A 300-litre extra fuel tank, an electric winch, B&G electronics and a Highfield RIB with a 15 hp Yamaha are listed. Draft is 1.25 m. Four en-suites on a 42-foot cat is a plus, and the size is easy to handle stern-to. The photos are real, but there's no full shot of the hull. Take it for a crew that wants a newish cat without paying for hotel kit.
Who It Suits
Four couples or a family of up to 8 who can live without AC and will plan water stops.
