Our Take
Sir Jax is Navigare Yachting's 2023 Lagoon 46 at Palm Cay Marina, Nassau, the jumping-off point for the Exumas: 45.9 feet, four cabins and four heads, plus two small extra berth cabins, registered for twelve. Air-con, a generator, a watermaker, a flybridge and two electric winches are listed, with 600 litres of water and 1,040 of fuel. The watermaker matters in the Exumas, where marinas are far apart. Four en-suites means four couples and nobody shares. Draft is 1.3 m, which keeps most Exumas anchorages open, but the Yellow Bank crossing from Nassau needs good light and attention.
