Our Take
Dream Yacht Charter's Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 449 at Costa Baja Marina, La Paz: a 43.8-foot monohull with four cabins, two heads and eight berths, plus two in the saloon. Read the air-con line carefully: it runs only on shore power at the dock. There's no generator or watermaker, so at anchor you rely on hatches and 530 litres of water. Four cabins on a 44-foot mono means smaller cabins, and two heads for up to ten people is the real limit; six to eight is the honest crew. A dinghy with outboard and an autopilot are listed. Draft is 1.6 m.
