Our Take
Linnea is Navigare Yachting's 2020 Jeanneau Sun Loft 47 at Hodge's Creek Marina: a 47.3-foot monohull with six cabins, four heads and up to twelve aboard. The midship cabins can be set up as doubles or bunks, which is how a 47-foot mono sleeps twelve. A 7.5 kW generator, air-con and a bow thruster are listed. A watermaker is not, and 640 litres for a full boat goes fast, so plan water stops. Sail handling is easy, with a furling main and a self-tacking jib. The dinghy is a Highfield 310 with a 15 hp outboard. Twelve on a monohull is tight: four heads between six cabins means queues, and eight to ten is the honest number. Take it if you want a big group on a keelboat rather than a cat.
Who It Suits
Large groups or several families (8–10 is comfortable, 12 max) who want to sail a monohull. Plan water; there's no watermaker.
